Disciplinary Literacy

Disciplinary Literacy has two parts. Students need assistance in mastering complex subject-area texts (how does a student access information in a math text versus a history text?) Second, there is deeper "insider" knowledge of how different subject areas view things (how does a scientist view ___ differently than a mathematician?).
