ilearnOhio is a comprehensive e-learning platform funded by the Ohio General Assembly to ensure that Ohio students have access to high-quality online courses. Eportfolios are a popular practice the world over.  However, although eportfolios have been in existence for over two decades, the effort to share resources about how to develop, implement, and assess an eportfolio program has been a more recent phenomenon.  What follows is a partial list of such materials.  If you would like to add an item to the list, please send an email to wendebmg [at] gmail [dot] com.  Two references are required for new resources.

looks like some great resources from Shmoop.com on teahcing and understanding digital literacy. Unfortunatley you have to pay for most of the units - however for a school $47 is a small price to pay for a huge amount of resources!

I've recently read some articles on how physical exercise helps students learn, and thought I'd put together a related "The Best…" list. However, I only have a few resources now, and I'm sure there are plenty others out there. I'm hoping readers will contribute more (I, of course, will give you credit for ones I add to this list).

The Budd:e Cybersecurity Education package consists of two activity-based learning modules, one for primary school students, and one for secondary school students.  Both modules contain engaging, media-rich activities and resources, developed in consultation with teachers and subject matter experts.  Here you will also find comprehensive Teacher Resources for Budd:e including background and contextual information, a video demonstration of the modules, lesson plans with learning outcomes for each activity, and curriculum maps for all Australian states and territories. Budd:e is part of the broader Australian Government cybersecurity initiative, aimed at creating a safer, more secure online environment for all Australian children.

On the 19 April, in London CETIS are holding a meeting in London on Repositories and the Open Web. The theme of the meeting is how repositories and social sharing / web 2.0 web sites compare as hosts for learning materials: how well does each facilitate the tasks of resource discovery and resource management; what approaches to resource description do the different approaches take; and are there any lessons that users of one approach can draw from the other?
