Window Curtain Panel - 0 views

  •
So I have been updating my room for some time. I have been searching for Window Curtain Panel for about a month. I didn't realize how hard it would be. I have p/u curtains from ross, Marshalls, target all have gone back. I finally found some actually on overstock/wayfair. I did a google search and found them on amazon and MUCH CHEAPER same brand. I read reviews and was skeptical thinking the value would be different. So glad I went ahead and bought them. I wanted 3 panels for each window but only was able to buy 4 pks at a time. this is the policy. I used 2 on one window and 3 on the other 2 and it is perfect. 1. Pearl black color - perfect I was skeptical and wanted charcoal and this is exactly what the pearl black looks like. The sheer gives it a great look. 2. Grommet fit right into my 5/8 rods. 3. length was true. 4. Blackout - OMG I put these up at 2p.m. and it looks like its 8 in here. 5. weight - the curtains are thick enough. they appear they can keep out air for windows. I absolutely love them and my search is over. I was worried about them looking childish in my room but they feel real glam.

Contemporaneous Eco-Friendly Container Home in Chile - 0 views

• Practical and Easy to use 5 in 1 Outlet » « Fresh and Inspiring Sky&Clouds Interior Theme Contemporaneous Eco-Friendly Container Home in Chile Infiniski Manifesto House is a beautiful project from Infiniski designers James&Mau (Jaime Gaztelu and Mauricio Galeano). Eco-friendly, made from reused and recycled materials, this modular architectonic beauty sits tall in Curacavi, Chile. The interior design and furniture was created by Comodo and different styles were mixed in order to achieve an elegant  and modern interior. Manifesto`s exterior is made from wooden panels on one side and from recycled pallets on the other.  The exterior panels describe a very important feature in all Infinski designs: eco-friendly sustainability. Being made out of wood coming from sustainable forests, the panelling had to be placed smartly so that air can circulate and cool down the entire house. The two floors are actually four containers mounted on top of each other. On the bottom floor, a large opened living area was created. Huge windows and sliding doors help to naturally ventilate the home. A nice addition is the porch`s folding screen that offers shade and comfort in the warm Chile weather. It only took 90 days to take this from an empty terrain to a modern, contemporaneous and ecologic home. On the 160 square meters rests a lot of hope for the future. Colours, textures and natural materials, combined with renewable energy sources used in more and more homes all over the world bring a better understanding of the surroundings.  This home not only uses renewable energy but it can be constructed very fast and it doesn`t cost much. These characteristics are of extreme importance in a fast paced world where resources are dwindling. 61Share Posted in Architecture | By Adriana | 3   Ready for more amazing design ideas? Elise Residence in Vienna, as Modern as It Gets - 0 views

  • Elise Residence in Vienna, as Modern as It Gets “Haus Elise” comes from Synn Architekten and is located in Vienna, Austria. We really like its exterior design, but wait till you see its functionality! As it will be revealed in the photos below, the residence is structured in three differentiated spaces, all having a well defined role. One is for the children, the other houses two bedrooms and the third is the living space where the family can meet. This is an interesting home design that allows a lot of privacy. The kitchen and the stairs are located in the junction area. Moreover, we are dealing with a sustainable project, as the house features solar panels and a powerful heat pump. Wide windows ensure a large amount of natural light. How do you find this cool mix of modern living cubes?
