We have all our individual clips mapped and each clip has its own button on the midi controller but we want to use these clips in shortened or perhaps longer lengths? How do we do this?

In the menu bar of the upper right hand corner of ableton where the metronome is, there is also the launch quantization menu. (it's the one on the far right end...) that basically tells ableton how quickly or slowly you want a midi clip to trigger or stop. For example, if you want a particular clip to trigger or end (I think...) in 2 bars, you'd select '2 bars' then strike the appropriate midi key. If you want extremely quick triggers you might select '1/32'....
