The UDL Toolkit is designed to guide you in structuring and conducting your own workshop on Universal Design for Learning. Its procedures offer a framework for teaching and learning about UDL, presenting key concepts with links to activities and online/downloadable presentations and resources. The toolkit has four primary components: theory sessions, application sessions, hands-on sessions, and supplementary sessions. Each session presents different aspects of the UDL toolkit, providing you with session overviews, annotated companion slide presentations that can be viewed on-line or downloaded as a PowerPoint file, presentation instructions, participant materials, and a listing of resources. As a presenter, you may adapt the presentations to suit your own style with appropriate citations for CAST's work.

In order to accomplish this, you have to examine your life closely. You have to be brave enough to say, "Lord, show me what is in my heart, soul, mind, spirit, and life that shouldn't be there. Teach me what I am not understanding. Expose me to myself, Lord. I can take it."
