The UDL Toolkit is designed to guide you in structuring and conducting your own workshop on Universal Design for Learning. Its procedures offer a framework for teaching and learning about UDL, presenting key concepts with links to activities and online/downloadable presentations and resources. The toolkit has four primary components: theory sessions, application sessions, hands-on sessions, and supplementary sessions. Each session presents different aspects of the UDL toolkit, providing you with session overviews, annotated companion slide presentations that can be viewed on-line or downloaded as a PowerPoint file, presentation instructions, participant materials, and a listing of resources. As a presenter, you may adapt the presentations to suit your own style with appropriate citations for CAST's work.

I have assembled a number of free resources that I believe should be on every classroom computer to promote learning for all students based upon principles of UDL. These tools provide improved access and accommodate for learner differences. Additionally, they are fun and engaging!

Universal Design for Learning CAST is a non-profit research and development organization dedicated to Universal Design for Learning (UDL). UDL research demonstrates that the challenge of diversity can and must be met by making curriculum flexible and responsive to learner differences.
