Behave 2014 is the third European conference on behaviour and energy efficiency and will take place on 3-4 September 2014 at the Saïd Business School in Oxford. Entitled 'Paradigm Shift: From Energy Efficiency to Energy Reduction through Social Change', the event will be co-hosted by the Energy Saving Trust and UK Energy Research Centre (UKERC).

A lack of collective awareness negatively impacts perceived personal efficacy, which hampers efforts to address societal problems. DecarboNet is a multidisciplinary effort to tackle this problem by identifyingdeterminants of collective awareness, translatingawareness into behavioural change, and providing novel methods to analyse and visualise the underlying processes.
