This app challenges you to learn the flags of the world. Memorizing flags is good for the education of children. Because it help to develop the color sense and memory.
Somehow we have managed to successfully program our students/children to think that Math and fun don't mix. This app combines fun with space rockets and quick-thinking math skills. The better your student/child does on the challenges, the more "money" he/she earns to upgrade their rockets. This would be a great app to use in the classroom to help review math operations, and still motivate the students to accomplish something and they can see their progress through how much money they have earned or by how fancy their rocket is.
After exploring meetifyr I found it to be extremely easy to create a calendar document to set up a meeting or event. I believe I could use this tool with my co-workers in the future to help organize committee meetings within our school, and all student events like performances, games, etc.
The downside about WebspirationPRO is that you need to purchase a subscription or you can download a 30 day trial. Overall mindmapping is a useful tool for Professionals and all students (K-college). Professionals and students can brainstorm, develop ideas and express their thinking with visual mapping techniques such as webs, bubble diagrams, concept maps and idea maps.
After receiving my grad degree I would use webnode as a tool to provide resources such as hypermedia tools to students and other teachers. My website would be organized according to subject area, offering links and brief descriptions of each.
Never lose a cool web page again, easily find your links in a blink of an eye :) After exploring Blinklist I found that it was easy to add links, and import links from another source to Blinklist.
Piclits is an easy tool that I could use with my students to help build their vocabulary. This will also help them express themselves in a fun innovative way.
NEATO! In most classrooms the teacher will find podcast episodes for students to listen to or watch. Sets of laptops, iPods, netbooks or other devices can be loaded with podcast episodes so students can use them at their desks, on field trips, in the library, or at home.
