  Looks like there are a lot of things that have been said but also need to be reinforced. One concept I like in Lucy's notes was:
  
  

  the purpose of education is not to deliver employees
  -civic engagement
  -full participation
  -better humans

  
  
  This just brought about the thought that we need to rethink "career paths" and why we are educating our children. Is it to "train employees" for a workforce? This could be an interesting debate.
