Text to Speech (TTS) software allows you to have text read aloud to you. This is useful for struggling readers and for writers, when editing and revising their work. You can also convert eBooks to audiobooks so you can listen to them on long drives. We've posted some websites here where you can find some good TTS software programs and online tools that are free or at least have free versions available.

 Sharing files is a core Internet activity. It is done through e-mail, instant messages, posting links in Twitter, or by using Dropbox and Google Drive. But what if you just need a simple drag-and-drop interface and a quick link? Dropcanvas is a simple app that does exactly this. 

Is that limitation alone holding you from using Google Docs as your Google Drive? Well, here's a new open-source program for Windows called Cyberduck that lets you transfer files and folders from the computer to Google Docs (and vice-versa) as if it were just another FTP server.
