it's general facebook problem, which stores all times for all users worldwide as their pacific time zone value. All websites, desktop applications, social plugins, addons, widgets have to deal with that. Even original fb app had a problem with displaying correct time but now in my Fb app for android I can see correct time. Unfortunately not in my calendar.

try to update with SUS after midnight or at dawn, when everyone asleep. At that time the server isn't that much overloaded.

If you absolutely need the old label structure, the only solution is to use an IMAP client to connect to both the old and new account and copy over folders/labels. But this solution can be tricky, because you can only copy over a certain (unspecified) amount of mail at a time.
