The Washington Redskins had a fairly good season this past year. In 2005, they won some games they shouldnt have, but it was made by them to the playoffs. While their safety played above their talent level, the offense was a little lacking at times. Will this year be any different? It is figured by lets out by deteriorating the primary units of the groups.

    Quarterbacks

Whos the quarterback? Mark Brunell gets up there in years, and he is not consistent. Hes 36 years of age, and he showed indications of wear last time. Expect him to play well in the first 5-8 activities of the growing season and tail off. If he gets hurt or tires dwi defense, his place is taken by who? The answer is Todd Collinsif you call an answer. Collins is just a reasonable backup, but thats it. The Redskins are about average of this type.

    Working Backs

The Redskins are above average in the running game because of Clinton Portis. I try to find him to truly have a strong year running the ball. They have stable players in the fullback position. The running game might end up being the bright spot in the offense in 2010. Manuel White, fullback, broke his leg this past year. Hes going to get yourself a opportunity to create this season. If they can remain healthy, White would have been a good addition to the running game.

    Receivers

Is this receiving primary worth something? On the surface, it looks like the Redskins are just about average in the receiving sport, but there lies more beneath. They purchased Antwaan Randle El from the Steelers. He may be precisely what they should stretch the opposing defenses further. Between Randle El and Santana Moss, other defenses might have their hands full. The disadvantage is that Randle El also offers the potential to be a big bust.

    Defense and Special Teams

The defense is anticipated to perform well in 2006. The second is above average. Shawn Springs is 31 now, and he can still cover well. His main problem is staying healthy. Carlos Rogers showed the potential to justify his being picked number 1 in the 2005 draft. The others of the security is pretty regular. They have to accomplish above their potential to offer the Redskins a real chance to get important games.

    2006 Prediction

I do believe last year was a fluke. The Redskins were the recipients of some lucky bounces. I depend 5 activities that they might have simply losta number of those they must have. The fact is; the 2005 Redskins has been 7-11 or 6-12. Perhaps not much has changed for them this year and their schedule is much tougher. There are only four games against quite poor opponentsNew Orleans Saints, Nyc Jets, Houston Texans and St. Louis Rams. Even those four games arent fully guaranteed. The Redskins must fight for the attic in the NFC East in 2010. Addressing 8-8 is a real accomplishment. The playoffs are going to need to wait until at the very least 2007 because of this group.Matthew R. Hoff Attorney at Law
