This site has numerous (2,100) carefully selected and annotated resources. You can click on the lobby link on the main page to go to the resources. You can click on the welcome to K12imc.org a t the bottom to go to the instructional media center where there are additional links taking you to specific locations on the site. At the bottom of the IMC page you can click on explore the worlds of K12IMC.org and within the explore page you will be able to link to more resources that are clearly described. Within each of the resource links you will go to a page where there will be a variety of content specific links. This site was interesting. There were lessons for teachers, there was a link on the explor page that will take you to experts in various fields. This is a site worth checking out because a user could, through this one site, find numerous credible and useable resources.

"The Best Resources For Learning Research & Citation Skills September 24, 2009 by Larry Ferlazzo | 8 Comments This "The Best…" list is sort of a combination of two lists I had been thinking of making to go along with The Best Online Resources To Teach About Plagiarism (Another list to keep in mind might be The Best Reference Websites For English Language Learners - 2008). The more I thought about it, though, the more I felt that a list of engaging (and even fun) sites to teach research skills and accessible citation resources would make a good combination. Since a graduation requirement in our district is that seniors need to develop a "Senior Project," I've spent some time finding these kinds of helpful sites that might be accessible to English Language Learners.  I have to say, though, that these sites (except for the first one) would probably only be accessible to more advanced ELL's. This is a collection of free math resources, lesson plans, interactives and printables. Each slide links out to a resource. Someof the resources also align with science and language arts content.

PBS Teachers is a wonderful site with lots of resources and supplemental material for teachers to use with students. This particular link will take you directly to the STEM education resource center: Professional Development and the focus on this page is Global Climate Change Modules from PBS and NASA. However, if you look at the top of the page you can choose a specific grade band and then within that there are various content areas that can be chosen. Looks like a very interesting site with lots of resources to select from.

Looks like a good site full of supplemental resources. Worth the search and a look.

Free Math Resources, as its name implies, is a web resource that provides tutorials, directories, formulas, calculators, howto'sand topics in each area of math.

TeAchnology is a site that has tons of resources for teachers. There are worksheets, lesson plans, rubrics, teacher resources, printables, tools, tips and there is a membership option. Some of the materials are available free as samples but if you want access to all of them I believe it is 29.99 a year.

Teacher Toolbox is an interactive math and reading resource for K-5th grade. There are interactive math applets, math games, free flash cards, interactie whiteboard lessons, reading games stories for kids, professional development resources as well as printables.

The LIU 12 in collaboration with Waynesburg University's Teaching with Primary Sources program is now offering American Treasures Boxes and digital resources, each based on a specific topic from American history. The American treasures boxes consist of a resource CD/flash drive, printed documents and images from the Library of Congress and ideas about how you might incorporate the materials into your classroom. The online Pre-Algebra Learning guides contain hundreds of topics with succinct explanations, diagrams, interactive examples, practice problems, and real-world applications. This site has some good materials and teaching resources for teaching cyber safety. I noticed that there are resources all the way to Kindergarten and more coming.
