Rapid product and process realization are major elements of competitiveness for the manufacturing industry, so efforts must focused on early stage of product development, where the product lifecycle cost is decided at that stage. Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) has largely answer as technology demonstrators for large corporations, which their industrial implementation was suffered by their high cost and complexity and lack of infrastructure support. Recently a new system with a name of Concurrent Engineering (CE) system helps which product development and manufacturing processes growth in the same time. Digital enterprise technology (DET) can explain digital modeling of products development. The physical to digital environment encounters large scale of technologies that is useful for bidirectional transfer and mixing of data, models and expert feedback between digital and physical domain which these technologies are: 1- evaluating simulated performance can plan and analyze the manufacture systems. 2- Measurement technologies and digitization technologies, which means
Measurement technologies for the identification of location and orientation of processing elements and the Measurement technologies for the identification of key products feature.
In addition, use of data structure for manufacture products is shown in digital manufacture, Product data management (PDM) and commercial system for product modeling.
