These days there is a serious discussion going on about uniting Flanders and the Netherlands. One of the main reasons would be that we would have a similar culture, more so then Flanders and Wallonia. Geert Wilders, a politician from the Netherlands claims this is a fact, and offered the possability for Flanders to join the Netherlands.

I am from Flanders, and I don't see the obvious Geert Wilders is seeing. I think this is an interesting question to start a topic.
