CULF 3331: "Middle Eastern Revolutions"

The Center for American Progress, a liberal think-tank in Washington DC, proposed various ideas to help build a stable government in Libya. They give several proposals that take on different ideas from the perspectives on globalization.

Fearing being drawn into a endless or devastating conflict, the Italian government has officially come out wary of military intervention in Libya. This comes as thousands of "refugees" and migrants routinely flee war-torn Libya for refuge in Southern Italy. Additionally, there is great fear among Europeans that ISIS militants might travel among these migrants in an effort to infiltrate and conduct terror attacks against Italy.

ISIS's Minister of War, who had a 5 million dollar bounty on his head, was likely killed by a US airstrike near Al-Shadaddi in Syria. This will hopefully lessen the violence as peace talks near.

WHEN Hind Al-Otaibi went to the Riyadh Personal Status Court to have her father struck out as her , or guardian, the judges seemed sympathetic. Her father had raped and bruised her, Ms Otaibi, who was a teenager at the time, told the court.

Since Libya and Tunisia have had revolutions in the past decade-they are still struggling to find their political place in their country and in the world. Creating Peace will help send a pulse through Tunisia. Peace will be made if Democracy is attained.
