    This depressing article from "Daily News Egypt" talks about how women's day in Egypt is generally marked by protests and demonstrations that center around the injustices the women of Egypt have faced. This year however: "Unfortunately, the scene in Egypt is crowded with several issues to the
    extent that I think demands cannot even be counted,"said Cairo University
    professor and activist Laila Soueif. Soueif is also the mother of
    imprisoned activists Alaa Abdel Fattah and Sanaa Seif.
