U.S. troops have been in combat longer than at any point in American history. In addition to two major wars, U.S. Special Forces were deployed to 133 countries (approximately 70 percent of the nations on the planet) in 2014. It makes little sense to continue with the same tactic of perpetual war, without any assurance of a better strategic outcome.

Neocons say "the U.S. has no choice but to go on the attack before Iran explodes a nuclear bomb and becomes a regional superpower with the ability to destroy Israel."

Iranian-based Hamas is using Gaza strip hospitals to treat ISIL fighters in exchange for valuable resources. This exchange comes as a result of Egypt's aggressive campaign to destroy Hamas tunnels through Egypt, leaving Hamas resources very scarce.

Islamic State has released a video suggesting it may carry out further attacks in the West, mentioning London, Berlin, and Rome as possible targets. The video features a member of the group stating in English that the recent attacks in Paris and Brussels should be seen as a "cautionary message" to nations fighting Islamic State. This video has video game portrayal of the buildings being destroyed which has Europe on high alert.

Newly-released videos depict the hunt of Russian Mil Mi-28NE Night Hunter helicopters after vehicles of Islamic State forces in Syria. Some of the videos were posted by Dmitry Rogozin, deputy prime minister in charge of the military industry.
