This artifact is a picture of an article titled "The Writings on the Wall," a piece about Hend Kheera, an Egyptian street artist, who grew in popularity during the revolution. She speaks about the focus of her work and what it means for the future.

This was an article that talked about how the Egyptian media, in particular the Al Kahera Wal Nas TV Network, was accusing the Finish artist Sampsa and Ganzeer of spreading terrorism through their street art and were part of the muslim brotherhood. Sampsa was forced to leave the country and Ganzeer was forced into hiding.

In this Facebook page, the focus is mainly the graffiti during the revolution. This is helpful because not only does it give me more photograph of the art but it shows how the social media was involved.

Since the January 25th Revolution, artists in Cairo have been in inspired form and as a city, Cairo has become a forerunner in Middle-Eastern revolutionary art.

This website has a lot of information about a potential college class to take, although I'm adding it as a sight to look at for the video. It provides some amazing pieces of work that can give the viewer a better idea of what the art looked like.

This article shows and explains a number of street artists views, murals, political cartoons and internet memes. This is one of the newer articles I have read because the backlash is centered mainly on Sisi and not Mubarek or the art from 2011 and Tahrir square.

This is a video of one of the most well known martyrs of the Egyptian revolution. This man lost both of his eyes in two different protests. The video doesn't provide any information of who is doing the painting, but it is still an interesting mural.

His face is on posters, shirts, cupcakes and now campaign banners and billboards across the country. The image of Egypt's next likely president, ex-army chief Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, was iconized well before he declared his candidacy by propagandists, opportunists and supporters soon after he led the military ouster of President Mohammed Morsi last summer amid the nationalist fervor sweeping the country.

El Teneen is another street artist from Egypt who has covered and tackled topics such as dishonesty in the media, military brutality and more recently the political Islamists and their distorted view on freedom and democracy.

This was an interesting website because it not only showed around thirty pictures of Egyptian graffiti, but it also gave you the option to click on other countries to see what their artists were doing. I think that this is important to see how Egyptian artists ideas, symbols and meanings translated over to other African countries.
