    Although this is not specific to women, there are definitely corresponding factors. In 1995, the literacy rate was 51.4, 2003 it was 57.7, 2005, just before the Arab Spring it was at 71.4 which shows quite a bit of improvement, and then in 2010 it was only 72. This is really interesting to me. Between 2005 and 2010 the literacy rate only went up 71.4. to 72.
