Lots of links on different aspects of storytelling. A great way to explore the topic and help define for yourself the role of storytelling in your own life and that of our students.

Blog that encourages the use of multimedia to engage students. I like the "Free Resources" section on "Student News" and "Digital Storytelling". Some good ideas for students to do news shows. 

Going to try using this as part of my venture into digital storytelling

Links to thousands of free audio clips that are copyright free. In digital storytelling, easy to drop these clips into Audacity or Garageband, etc. and create vodcasts of all kinds.

This list is considered the "best of the best" by AASL and is comprised of free, user-friendly sites that encourage a community of learners to explore and discover. They also provide a foundation to support AASL's Standards for the 21st-Century Learner. The sites offer tools and resources in content collaboration, content resources with lesson plans, curriculum sharing, digital storytelling, managing and organizing, and social networking and communication.

Sherry Hegstrom, on her blog "Emerging Technologies in Education" asks the question: What makes for a digital story? She brings up some great questions for us to consider and there are some comments that engage the discussion. Check it out!
