    Diigo's bookmarklet-based highlighter for iPad is terrific, but the JavaScript code doesn't correctly work on an iPad under 4.3.1 until you copy/paste it manually from this discussion post.

    I agree. It's free for now (otherwise $0.99). Looks to be a great introduction to the iPad app. I just downloaded it and already learned new stuff about the iPad.

It's a tool, like any other, and in the classroom it must always be thought of as being in the service of pedagogy. The pedagogical foundations must be solid, because the tool will achieve no heights the underlying pedagogy will not support

    As Fraser mentioned on twitter, just because the iPad is "a tool, like any other" doesn't mean all tools are equal.
