This is a fabulous resource with practical lesson plans, valuable resources, and more.  I've used several of their lessons.  There's an interesting story behind how they "earned" the money to remain free.

Laura Candler is a former teacher who has so many great ideas, she became her own industry!  You will find many free or inexpensive resources on her website, and she shares quite freely.  Sign up for her newsletter, be sure to check out the file cabinet of free ideas, and check out the other links she recommends.  You can also like her page on Facebook.  She frequently offers good deals or free resources there as well.

Open Educational Resources is a free-source collection of lesson ideas and resources.  It also includes classroom management and other topics.

Includes updated list of resources from the federal govt. At the bottom, has resources that can be used with students, such as Smithsonian, NASA, etc.

Another great resource from Laura Candler.  Includes some free resources, including a webinar.  The things she has for sale are pretty reasonably priced.  I thought this might tie in with the recent math PD.

North Carolina CCSS resources.  Includes stds "unpacked" and many other resources

Although these are resources for one book provided by the author, she includes some tools that would work with any book.  I really like her grid of reading response options-- downloadable.

"The Molecularium seeks to 'excite audiences of all ages to explore and understand the molecular nature of the world around them.' The project's website offers several tools that will be useful to educators. Nanospace, a web-based virtual theme park designed for students between first and eighth grade, utilizes games, activities, and short animations to provide an entertaining learning environment for children to explore the atomic world. In addition, under the Educators tab, teachers will find a Guide to NanoSpace that includes an overview of the games and attractions. Downloadable resources, such as a Teacher's Resource Guide to the Molecularium Project, are also available."

This particular Richard Byrne entry describes a pearltree used to catalog some useful tech resources for teachers.  You can learn about the resources and pearltrees in the process.

Problem solving is the heart of mathematical learning. This site complements existing curricula by providing a resource for teachers who use, or are only beginning to use, a problem-centered approach. This resource will also help parents and tutors support problem-based learning in out-of-school settings.

This resource from Annenberg includes a video on Olympic history and other resources.
