Mortgage rates continued their turn down this week attaining a low point of 4.32% for a 30 year predetermined mortgage loan. These are the lowest mortgage rates ever since tracking started over 40 years ago. These stumpy mortgage rates have enlarged the number of awaiting home retails last month by 5.2%. The raise in pending home sales is a sign that home sales should go up over the next 2 months. These figures have real estate specialists promising this could be a symbol of revival in the general housing market.

The 21st Century Learners Project is sponsored by the Alabama Best Practices Center in Montgomery, Alabama. This project consists of teams of teachers from across the state who spend time learning about Web 2.0 tools and how to incorporate these tools into the curriculum. Teachers are also exposed to how these tools build learning skills in students. Teachers also focus on how to use student-centered, inquiry-driven approaches in instruction.
