The website, http://www.morguefile.com, is a resource for free-stock photos. The website well-maintained and is user-friendly, and the search bar provides easy access to pictures using simple search terms. I think this website would be best suited for any age group due to its ease of use. I have specific use for this site in my 6th grade gifted language arts class because each year my students complete a visual podcast based on the biggest event of the previous year. For 2012, many students chose Hurricane Sandy as the biggest event of the year. A quick searched turned-up several images perfect for this topic. While I appreciate how easy this site is to use as well as the high quality of materials, it seems as though students might have to sift through some poor images in order to find good ones. This to me is a good lesson, though to teach students quality over quantity as well as to really evaluate resources that they find on the Internet. In other-words, it would be a good "teach-able" moment. I would definitely use this site with my students for my pod-casting project as well as other projects throughout the year.
