Often Christian education lags behind secular education in terms of technology. Many churches are still using Sunday School books that do not go beyond the material that is in between the front and back covers. If secular education is loaded with media and technology, it is unfair to expect children to be as excited about learning the Bible if we cannot engage them with multimedia resources. There are many Christians that are doing a fantastic job teaching the Word. What they often lack is Christian resources to help equip them. I have found three resources that will help Sunday School teachers. The first resources is Free Christian Clip Art "Mini=Biblicals. The link to this site is http://freechristianillustrations.com/clipart.html . I especially like this site because there are no sign ups and they do not ask for donations. Also they have a disclaimer that states, "these illustrations may be downloaded, copied or distributed without permission as long as no cost is charged and source is recognized. The site itself is user friendly and organized so you can easily find what you are looking for. This site has lots of illustrations, ebooks for ages up to an adult, posters and bookmarks that you can download and print and clipart. I especially like the clipart section. This section is divided into Old Testament, New Testament, and some major holiday categories. This clipart can be used with any age group because what age does not like imagery. This is also a tab to take you to additional resources. The only challenge I can see is the fact there are so many illustrations to be read that it can be time consuming. This can be mitigated by reading one per week.
