From the Desk of David Pogue - Amazon's E-Book Service - NYTimes.com - 1 views

  •
What makes the Kindle successful is the effortlessness of it. One-click book buying. Forty-five-second book downloading. One-click book reading. Amazon tore down every last barrier, minimizing the number of steps at every turn. The convenience is amazing. So if they're going to bring those e-books to the iPhone, it had better be darned simple. And, sure enough, it is.

They can become masters of the software if they so choose. The beauty of learning Pixlr is that you can transfer some of that knowledge to other software programs." (from site home page

To Shred, or Not To Shred... by Bob Sprankle - 0 views

"One of the main reasons I started using Blogs with students was so their work had permanence, and wasn't just shoved in a box in the back of an attic, but published in an authentic venue, where people could continue to interact with it. For years to come. I still have people leaving comments on the first Blog that I set up for students over 5 years ago. It remains a living, breathing organism. The students can still go back and see their previous work."
