Uniform Resource Identifier - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 0 views

shared by Islam TeCNo on 16 Jun 09 - Cached
  • In computing, a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) consists of a string of characters used to identify or name a resource on the Internet. Such identification enables interaction with representations of the resource over a network (typically the World Wide Web) using specific protocols. Schemes specifying a specific syntax and associated protocols define each URI. Contents [hide]

I've confused between URL & URI till reading this article !

URL no3 men el URI :D ....ana faker eno kont shoft el 7eta deh fe ketab 3an el HTTP bas nesetha .......Zanks Zikas Again
  • A Uniform Resource Name (URN) functions like a person's name, while a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) resembles that person's street address. The URN defines an item's identity, while the URL provides a method for finding it. The ISBN system for uniquely identifying books provides a typical example of the use of typical URNs. ISBN 0486275574 (urn:isbn:0-486-27557-4) cites unambiguously a specific edition of Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. In order to gain access to this object and read the book, one would need its location: a URL address. A typical URL for this book on a unix-like operating system might look like the file path file:///home/username/RomeoAndJuliet.pdf, identifying the electronic book saved in a local hard disk. So URNs and URLs have complementary purposes.

Introduction to Design Patterns - 0 views

  • design pattern is a widely accepted solution to a recurring design problem in OOP a design pattern describes how to structure classes to meet a given requirement provides a general blueprint to follow when implementing part of a program does not describe how to structure the entire application does not describe specific algorithms focuses on relationships between classes
  • design patterns: make you more productive help you write cleaner code Observer and Singleton are just two of the many available if you like design patterns, try these resources: GoF book -- Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-oriented Software design pattern examples in Java, see Design Patterns in Java Reference and Example Site

in summary :D we can say that a design pattern is a general reusable solution to a commonly occurring problem in software design. and it gives the way and relation between the classes and object to solve a certain problem and it doesn't specity the final application here is a book which Tecno give it tom me http://www.4shared.com/file/111350944/8be77835/Dummies_-_DesignPattern.html hope that it will be usefull

"Our mission is to preserve your brain well enough to keep all its memories intact: from that great chapter of your favorite book to the feeling of cold winter air, baking an apple pie, or having dinner with your friends and family. If memories can truly be preserved by a sufficiently good brain banking technique, we believe that within the century it could become feasible to digitize your preserved brain and use that information to recreate your mind. How close are we to this possibility? Currently, we can preserve the connectomes of animal brains and are working on extending our techniques to human brains in a research context. This is an important first step towards the development of a verified memory preservation protocol, as the connectome plays a vital role in memory storage."

CRC Cards Tutorial - 0 views

  • Object Oriented Analysis and Design using CRC Cards
  • A CRC cards is an index card that is use to represent the responsibilities of classes and the interaction between the classes. CRC cards are an informal approach to object oriented modeling. The cards are created through scenarios, based on the system requirements, that model the behavior of the system. The name CRC comes from Class, Responsibilities, and Collaborators which the creators found to be the essential dimensions of object oriented modeling.
    • Ahmed Mansour

One of the most popular methods for identifying and categorizing classes is to use class-responsibility-collaboration cards (CRC). Each CRC card represents a single class's data attributes, responsibilities, and collaborations. source : Thought Process Book..
    • Ahmed Mansour

You need to create three sections on each card: - The name of the class - The responsibilities of the class - The collaborations of the class
  • Why uses CRC cards?
  • ...4 more annotations...
  • They are portable... No computers are required so they can be used anywhere. Even away from the office. The allow the participants to experience first hand how the system will work. No computer tool can replace the interaction that happens by physically picking up the cards and playing the roll of that object... The are a useful tool for teaching people the object-oriented paradigm. They can be used as a methodology them selves or as a front end to a more formal methodology such as Booch, Wirfs-Brock, Jacobson, etc.

OpenGL - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - 0 views

  • OpenGL (Open Graphics Library) is a standard specification defining a cross-language, cross-platform API for writing applications that produce 2D and 3D computer graphics. The interface consists of over 250 different function calls which can be used to draw complex three-dimensional scenes from simple primitives. OpenGL was developed by Silicon Graphics Inc. (SGI) in 1992[1] and is widely used in CAD, virtual reality, scientific visualization, information visualization, and flight simulation. It is also used in video games, where it competes with Direct3D on Microsoft Windows platforms (see Direct3D vs. OpenGL). OpenGL is managed by the non-profit technology consortium, the Khronos Group.

  • The OpenGL standard allows individual vendors to provide additional functionality through extensions as new technology is created. Extensions may introduce new functions and new constants, and may relax or remove restrictions on existing OpenGL functions. Each vendor has an alphabetic abbreviation that is used in naming their new functions and constants. For example, NVIDIA's abbreviation (NV) is used in defining their proprietary function glCombinerParameterfvNV() and their constant GL_NORMAL_MAP_NV.

  • Memorize the value of pi You should always try to remember the value of pi as far as possible, 3.1415926535897932384626433832795, certainly the part in italics. The judges may not give the value in the question, and if you use values like 22/7 or 3.1416 or 3.142857, then it is very likely that some of the critical judge inputs will cause you to get the wrong answer. You can also get the value of pi as a compiler-defined constant or from the following code: Pi=2*acos(0)

  • You cannot always check the equality of floating point numbers with the = = operator in C/C++. Logically their values may be same, but due to precision limit and rounding errors they may differ by some small amount and may be incorrectly deemed unequal by your program
