Interoute's Ethernet Virtual Private network - VPLS service - is a flexible, cost effective and reliable wide area network (WAN) solution for secure and private connectivity of multiple sites within an organisation.

French publisher Hachette Livre has gained economies of scale and lowered the price of the bandwidth it uses by leasing dark fibre from European cloud services operator Interoute. Hachette Livre's head of ICT, Serge Bellier, said the cost was the same to lease dark fibre and operating it itself or to lease a line run at a limited speed from a major operator.

Interoute is the owner operator of Europe's largest cloud services platform. They serve international enterprises and telecommunications operators worldwide, with voice, video, computing and high capacity international data bandwidth and network infrastructure.
