The host of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" said he was invited by Gen. David Petraeus, head of U.S. Central Command, to entertain U.S. troops downrange. "I'm hoping they're just going to blindfold me, fly the plane around in the air for 12 hours and drop me in New Mexico and tell me it's the Persian Gulf, because I wouldn't know the difference," he said.
