Welcome to the hsa6112 general Wikispace. Here you will see the guidelines for your two wiki spaces for this semester. Your projects need to be created in this Wikispace after you have selected your country and appointed MOH with your team for the first assignment and for the second assignment after you have been appointed in the consulting team for a given country.

Distributed learning policies at UCF recognize the variety of distributed learning modes and the evolving and respective stages of development of each mode. Therefore, the following policies are couched in terms of the delivery mode, as well as the stage of development of a specific mode and the instructor's experience and level of involvement. Policies are provided for assignment, compensation, reuse of materials and software, intellectual property rights, and academic freedom. Annotated Bibliographies Definitions A bibliography is a list of sources (books, journals, websites, periodicals, etc.) one has used for researching a topic. Bibliographies are sometimes called "references" or "works cited" depending on the style format you are using. A bibliography usually just includes the bibliographic information (i.e., the author, title, publisher, etc.). An annotation is a summary and/or evaluation. Therefore, an annotated bibliography includes a summary and/or evaluation of each of the sources. Depending on your project or the assignment, your annotations may do one or more of the following:

Wikipedia is an online, dynamic encyclopedia, which anyone can add or edit content. One of the exciting things about this site is that history is documented within minutes of an event occurring. Additionally at UCF, faculty members have made assignments asking students to rewrite poorly or sparsely written entries. Questions have arisen about Wikipedia's accuracy; Henry Jenkins from MIT discussed its uses and validity at the 2008 Annual Meeting for Educause Learning Initiative.
