Tim Skelly was the first to take the leap, while working for the legendary vector graphics pioneers at Cinematronics. The 27 year-old coder often thumbed his nose at the many clones of Pong and Space Invaders that littered the arcades, and believed that something fresh would be more likely to capture players' attention.
