    Kansas City program that invites school and youth programs working with school-age children, to participate in creative projects that allow the youth to express their ideas, feelings and hopes for the future.

    This project goes directly to who will be affected by what choices we make today (positively or negatively). Most ideas are not heard, so to start a civic engagement project around the idea of getting the youths voices heard is very inspiring.

    This is an article about a group of students in a Sociology Class at Malden High School to take upon the issue of bullying after a local 15-year-old student committed suicide as a result of bullying. "They compiled and collectively led an assembly with useful information, statistics, advice, and resources for the younger students in their school. They also developed posters to be hung around the school that effectively promote bulling awareness and educate about the new anti-bullying legislation.
