  A young city councilman has formed an initiative called Reinvent South Stockton to revitalize a community suffering from an overwhelming amount of violence and drugs. Along with other young people in the community, they have started surveying and speaking to others in the community. They are building networks of people through the use of social media and simply talking to community members who are just as passionate in the struggle for improvement. Young adults and teenagers of the area are leading the charge and learning how they can become actively involved in making their community a better place.
