  I thought this was a great article because it talks about how the impact of libraries really does have on the community. It shows many graphs that really show you exactly how important they may or may not be to some people.

  This article confirmed the information in Chapter 2, Branch Libraries, of Better Together, but because of it's statistical presentation the issue of how community building is done through libraries didn't get as much attention. Better Together also gave a little more information about the value of helping older people and some of the immigrant communities learn to use modern technology to access essential services.
