Here are some collections of information about the interplay between music and mathematics. I have collected a bibliography of such items as they float past me in cyberspace, and I went hunting for references in the reviewing journal Mathematical Reviews for mentions of music. In addition I am interested in a few other specific topics.

I use this site to tag and keep track of my personal reading but have also found it helpful to see what others have been reading on the same subject. Once you register and identify the city in which you live, you will be alerted to local book related events. Very useful site.

This is a great resource if you are looking for notable books for your students to read. The link also includes a number of other links such as the top children's books for the year.

This is a great site for great books. It is updated monthly (from September - June) by the Greater Boston Cooperative Library Association, which is a group of over 60 independent school libraries. It organizes the books by grade (Gr. 7 - 12) as well as by genre and themes. The books they recommend are all recently published outstanding books.
