I want to try this project - or at least a version of it. Seems to be ripe with possibilities for incorporating a multitude of 2.0 tools (audacity, voicethread) and hardware (MP3 players, cell phones, etc.)

All student created materials on SchoolTube must be approved by registered teachers, follow local school guidelines, and adhere to our high standards. " Could probably convince administrators to unblock this if it is easier than youtube
The Education Podcast Network is a network that looks at all the ways that teachers can use podcast as a tool in education. It lists all the subject areas where educators can get podcasts for. This could really be good for new teachers who are trying to utilize podcasts in their teachings.
