I am looking forward to seeing the results at the end of her study. My husband and I are both the first people to go to college in our families so we can relate to a lot of things in this article.
I hate the "teaching to the test" that I have seen in schools with my kids. The teachers actually are stressing the kids out over these test score in elementary school! I hope with the introduction of the common core, the focus will be on concepts that can be applied and hopefully this will improve test scores.
What a great story! I liked the other mention that another empty Walmart was purchased as an indoor senior walking circuit. Now if they put the walking circuit somehow indoors around the library that would be an even better community space!
I like the statement about social media needing tone part of marketing and the overall strategy. like anything else, it doesn't make sense for it to be a stand alone tool.
Another great article! Nothing like the people in charge being in denial. Somewhat off subject, I do find it sad what people do not want such as international news and the ability to think critically.
Wow is right! Ruth, what a great article that bring in so many things we have been talking about. Very interesting points about personal feedback as well and a Preston's career.
Reading this makes me think that perhaps they were not asking the right questions of the right people. They went into it with a specific idea of what they wanted and not with an open mind geared towards reaching the market from a CI perspective.
