Live Streaming at Online Church - 0 views

  •
About 7 years ago I first started experimenting with live streaming using a platform called Mogulus (now Livestream.com).  We simply hooked up a handy-cam to a laptop and were live!  It wasn't fancy, but it worked and thanks to social media we literally doubled our audience in a moment.  I've learned a lot since this time and took almost a 5 year hiatus from live streaming.

Online Outreach Mindset for Churches | Internet Toolbox for Churches - 1 views

  • In this Internet Toolbox for Churches show episode, I explore how you and your church should mentally approach online outreach.
  •
Technology is important in keeping up with the latest advances, and it is no different in the church setting. The biggest thing now is live streaming of our weekly worship services. Since we have many elderly people in our congregation, worship services are very important to them because it may be the only constant that they have in their life. Knowing that they can go to the computer and watch the weekly service--especially if they are homebound is of utmost importance. It is imperative that there are people in the congregation who can assist in this area so that this can be accomplished.
