importance of knowing the gospel having set forth the bases of the gospel namely the power of the gospel the purpose of the gospel and the effects and results of the gospel when the gospel was preached by the apostles over two thousand years ago it went forth with power

the purpose of the gospel jesus said mark chapter - and he said unto them go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be damned and these signs shall follow

There should be no arrogance and pride involved when witnessing for Christ… we are to behave with gentleness and respect in all we say and do towards unbelievers. We should not 'beat the unsaved about the head' with the Word of God, but rather present it with love and caring.
