Its in my weakness that His strength is made perfect. I am no longer a perfectionist, trying to do everything on my own, but someone who knows "I can do all things (only) through Christ who strengthens me."

Obama's Secret Vault - HUMAN EVENTS - 0 views

"On Glenn Beck's Jan. 7 show, he was rightly puzzled regarding the exact purpose of President Barack Obama's Dec. 16 signing of an executive order "DESIGNATING INTERPOL AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES." Beck spoke for a host of other government watchdogs when he said on the air: "We've been asking ever since it was signed: Why? Who can tell me what special interest group asked for this? If it were about terror, why not tell us that when he signed it? This Congress attacks our CIA and FBI, but Interpol gets immunity? Why? It makes no sense." Glenn, I agree. But I think I recently have seen behind the veil on the White House's covert mission and mystery with Interpol. The rest of Obama's executive order reads: "By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words 'except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act' and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.""

About Francesca | Francesca Battistelli - 0 views

""We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."-E.M. Forester So, what do you want to be when you grow up? It's a question that takes many people years and years of trial and error and self-discovery to figure out. But for singer/songwriter Francesca Battistelli, her mind was made up when she was only six years old. After seeing "The Secret Garden" on Broadway with her parents, the decision was ultimately a no-brainer. "There was just something about live theater-especially musical theater-that has always resonated with me," Francesca says. "So I thought that was it. I was going to be Mary Lennox in 'The Secret Garden'." Of course for anyone who knew her family, Francesca's passion for life on the stage wasn't all that surprising, given her mom and dad's extensive theater background. In fact, they met when her dad was the assistant conductor for the national tour of "The King and I," while her mom played Anna, the show's female lead opposite Yul Brynner. "

How to Never Argue Again - relaationship - 0 views

Why do couples argue? After all, we all know that arguing is definitely not an effective form of communication. Long ago, I figured if I knew the real reason why couples argue, I could create an antidote to arguing that would actually work. After many years of watching so-called lovers beat each

I SAMUEL - XXVII - EM TUDO DAR GRAÇAS - 0 views

Pois isto é uma mostra de fé em um coração grato a Deus.   E esta é a vontade de Deus em Jesus, o Cristo, para nós. (I Tess. 5:18) Em tudo! Eis aí a questão. Damos graças a Deus com muita facilidade quando sentimos que fomos contemplados com boa sorte.. Dar graças quando tudo parece

Reading the Bible Chronologically - 1 views

  •
The following is a reading plan that I developed for some newer disciples / followers of Jesus to help them get a good picture of what is going on in Scripture from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22. Our English Bibles do not follow a clear chronological order (particularly in the Old Testament), so many people who read the Bible straight through aren't able to, say, summarize the Biblical narrative as a whole. This is a bit of a problem as I believe that a developing healthy understanding of the Bible's story (and my/your place in it) is an essential component of discipleship.
