Jesus came to try to make Salvation as EASY as He possibly could!-And that's why the Religionists crucified Him, that's why they killed Him, because the Church System of the day as good as said it couldn't be done without THEM, without following all of their complicated laws, traditions & religious rigmarole! But Jesus came and showed them that they didn't have to go to church on Sunday-or Saturday or Friday or any other day of the week! They didn't have to follow the Church laws and rules and regulations and the Ten Commandments and all the rest. All they had to do was simply confess that they were sinners and needed Salvation and ask Jesus to give it to them!

If the spiritual is more important than the physical, how should we spend our time and effort?If what we do is more important than what we say, how should we approach ministry?If (the ongoing work of) Salvation is more important than miracles, which one do we need to solve our problems?

Isaiah 53 was written centuries before the time of Jesus, around 712 BC. Several verses speak of the significance of Jesus' death for us personally: our gifts, our sorrows, our crimes, our sins, our well-being, our healing.

One of the Devil's favourite "devices", or tools that he uses with Christians, is DISCOURAGEMENT! If he can't keep you from getting SAVED and giving your life to Jesus, then he will do his best to try to DISCOURAGE you so you give up and QUIT serving the Lord or telling others about Him!-And his favourite way of trying to discourage most of us is by getting us to look at our own mistakes, sins, weakness and failures, looking at OURSELVES instead of the LORD!

Is Salvation valuable enough to give up everything to get it?… For Salvation to come to our lives, it must displace everything from our lives… If Salvation means ANYTHING to us, it must be EVERYTHING to us. How much are you willing to lose just to get Salvation? How much is too much to lose to get Salvation?
