While there are currently a number of workflow solutions and Learning Management Systems that work well with iPads, Google Classroom will likely become a top contender for iPad classrooms because of the integration with both the Google Drive and Google Docs iPad apps as well as any number of iPad creativity apps. While there is not an iPad app for Google Classroom, the web interface works seamlessly and allows students to turn in any assignment or file that is in their Google Drive account as illustrated by the video below

One of my favorite features of Google Drive is Google Forms. If you're unfamiliar with this, think of it as a way to create quick surveys that can be used for a number of applications. Google automatically aggregates this data into a Google Spreadsheet, making forms a great way to quickly collect and share information. I have seen educators and administrators use Google Forms in the most creative and inventive ways. If you're just starting with Google Forms, here are five ways that you can use them to streamline your classroom!

To access Google Now, swipe up from the bottom of the Google Search app. Swiping down tucks it away and returns you to the original menu screen.

If you're a user of Google Drive, then no doubt you have also heard of and likely used Google Presentations (Google's version of PowerPoint). It's a great tool to create slick presentations in the cloud, especially after its most recent overhaul. As teachers, our plates are perpetually and impossibly full. The idea of adding one more component - such as incorporating technology into instruction - can seem daunting to say the least. In my own attempts to incorporate technology into my practice, Google has been the most valuable tool I have found thus far. Not only does it increase my ability to organize my instructional tools, but it also allows me to incorporate more technology when I feel ready to do so.
