Aramid generally refers to aramide fibers. There are four categories :(1) all para-aromatic amide fibers; (2) fully para-aromatic amide copolymer fiber; (3) interposition aromatic amide fiber; (4) Isomeric aromatic amide copolymerization fibers containing methyl substituents. The first two are heat-resistant fibers with high strength and high modulus, and the last two are heat-resistant and refractory fibers.
