    Simple but fast

I like how easy this site is to navigate. It gives you a general overview of where the muscles are as well as their origin, insertion, function and innervation.
  •
You are able to look at the muscles by region, which is how we are being taught in lecture.
  •
I found this site to be helpful, but the diagrams could be better
  •
I like how piriformis is a triangle and quadratus femoris is a rectangle like we talked about it class. The muscles don't look very muscle-like in the diagrams.
  •
I like how the insertion, origin, action, and innervation is presented in a straight forward manner.
  •
This was quick and easy, but doesn't help you see what the muscle actually looks like
  •
Easy to navigate! Very simple pictures, should not be only study source.

This has a lot of labels for gluteal muscles, but it can be a little confusing in the smaller pictures.
  •
This could be helpful as a review but some of the pictures and layout of information can be a little confusing.
  •
The labeled pictures are helpful and very thorough.
  •
I don't like the layout of this one, it's kind of confusing, but i like how the pictures are labeled.
  •
Lots of information, but confusing when finding the orientation of the bone

I like this one. Lots of quizzes

I liked this website I think it was very interactive and the quizzes were fun
  •
I find this site very helpful. When looking up the muscles they are broken down into Upper Extremity and Lower Extremity and from there broken down further into the different muscles. When choosing a specific muscle (i.e. gluteus maximus) the site will show you a picture and state the Origin, Insertion, Action, Innervation and Arterial Supply.
  •
This site is organized very well and is easy to follow. The quizzes seem very helpful.
  •
This is very helpful with detailed quizzes and good graphics.
  •
I liked this website in regards to finding out how much you know about specific muscle regions, etc. However, I don't think this would help me a whole lot if I was just beginning to learn a muscle region, since most of the website is quizzes. I will use this when reviewing muscle regions or beginning to study for an exam.

This one is really helpful and it allows you to test yourself by hiding all the labels as well as there are lots of quizzes
  •
I found this site very useful for learning the origins, insertions, and innervations of the muscles. It also lets you take away or add muscles to the animation so it is easier to get an idea of where the muscles are positioned.
  •
Very helpful to specific groups of muscles, tissues etc. Overall decent but not helpful if the part your looking for in particular isn't listed.
  •
this is good for origin, insertion and innervation.
  •
The regional tutorials and quizzes are very helpful.
  •
I loved this site! It allows you to go through the muscles step by step, and I like the fact that it has quizes.
  •
I really like the way this site is set up. It seems very logical and easy to use--and the O, I, A & N info is great.
  •
This site is very helpful. I like how you can take away or add muscles and it tells the origin, insertion and action.

This could be somewhat helpful. It lists the origin, insertion, innervation, and action of every muscle but is a little more detailed than we use in lab.
  •
This is a decent site that gives the origin, insertion, and intervention which is helpful but very detailed as Danielle pointed out.... I think that the pictures could be a little better but other than that would be helpful.
  •
Good information, not so good pictures. Would be useful to match origin/insertion information up with a skeleton model.
  •
I like the organization by region. It was easy to locate the part of the body you want to study.

This is a pretty technical atlas with virtually no function or description. It is mostly listed info. Good for an advanced reference. It also has a somewhat artsy portion (with a long opera analogy, yes, I mean opera like singing) and then also a very interesting and strightforward portion about first-aid.

This website has a good view of the gluteal muscles and surrounding features (bones, ligaments, tendons, etc.). It is all numbered and labeled so you could try to quiz yourself!
  •
    A little difficult navigating through.
  •
The numbers are little faded though!!
  •
Could be a good resource but definitely agree that it is hard to find what you are looking for and could be set up better.

    Fancy zoom feature!
  •
The zoom feature was very cool. But I didn't find it very helpful. I couldn't find where the names of the muscles were but they were labeled with numbers.
  •
Showed a link that had videos that were "award-winning" and when I tried to play them they weren't available.

This one was helpful to see the muscles but the pictures were a little hard to see and there wasn't a way to test yourself
  •
Found this to be very helpful in regards to simplistic labeling and refreshers. I would definitely use this site to take the photos and their labels off of to study the parts.
