  • What a fascinating journey for Fiona McIntosh's class – they explored the two historic flights made by Charles Kingsford Smith and his crew.'It's a pretty amazing learning object. It's absolutely loaded with things that kids love – I loved it. It's got really accurate footage from the period and kept the kids absolutely riveted. They really loved the fact that they were able to make their own newsreel. For some kids it's probably the best piece of work I've seen them do this year! Most students made wonderful observations, comparisons and displayed the knowledge they had acquired.'

Indaba - Unique site where users can create collaborative music pieces to make one final product. 7. Creating Music - Very user friendly website shows kids how to create digital music. 8. Worth Monkey - The blue book for used electronics and more! - 6 views

  •
Worth Monkey works by searching data all over internet regarding the current asking price and selling price of the used goods you're looking for. It then brings back all of that data and performs calculations on each piece and on the data as a whole, giving you the average low, middle, and high price of the product. As an added treat, it also shows you where you can purchase that product for the highest average price or lower, leveraging your purchasing options and saving you time and money.

Online Study Flashcards - 0 views

  •
Using the StudyStack web site, you use your computer to display a stack of "virtual cards" which contain information about a certain subject. Just like flashcards, you can review the information at your own pace discarding the cards you've learned and keeping the ones you still need to review. However, unlike traditional flash cards, each card can show multiple pieces of information; and the whole stack can be automatically sorted by any one of the pieces of information. Also, when you enter the data for a studystack, the same data can automatically be displayed as flashcards, a matching game, a word search puzzle, and a hangman game.

Students can use StudyStack to create banks or stacks of electronic cards that can be reviewed online, printed, or exported to a pda, cell phone, or iPod. Email registration is required in order to create a Study Stack, but students can use public study s
