In an attempt to make the "I" in IWB truly Interactive, I've been on the lookout for websites that can be used interactively on all IWBs, regardless of brand.
"Are you new to using an interactive whiteboard (IWB)? Have you used one for ages but want some other ideas? Are you using an IWB regularly but know you could use it better? Then you are invited to join The 2010 Interactive Whiteboard Challenge!

Really cool-looking web 2.0 way of visualizing debate topics. Would work GREAT on an IWB.
1) a wiki debate visualization tool
2) a web-based, creative commons project
3) a global graph of all the debates
From National Geographic, mouse over figures in the rainforest scene and create a little spotlight and then click on the figures to get more information. Looks great on an IWB.
n a move that could shake up the interactive whiteboard (IWB) market, two projector manufacturers have just released new products that can turn virtually any surface into an IWB.
The development means schools no longer have to buy separate hardware to enjoy the benefits of IWBs, whose interactive surface and ability to engage students have made them quite popular in classrooms.
“We would certainly consider this projector a game-changer,”
Display the puzzle atlas at the end of class/beginning of class on IWB to challenge students to put the country/continent back together...incentive for students who finish early or arrive to class early....or as students answer a question correctly they get to come to the board and place a piece of the puzzle to where they think it should go

"The Interesting Ways to Use series has been really successful. I measure their success in how useful they are to teachers and other educators in helping with professional development.
They have been a great example of crowdsourcing good quality classroom ideas and it has been great fun connecting with all of the people who have taken time to add an idea. It is remarkable what can be achieved and created together if you give people the right way to do it. Thanks for all the help so far.
It all began with One Idea, One Slide and One Image as a premise for the IWB presentation and that has always remained. I hope we can all continue to create them - let me know if you have any other ideas for a presentation.
I wanted to keep the family together in one place and give you one page to see them all, as so many of you have requested. Don't forget that if you want to contribute an idea just let me know and I will give you access to share your thoughts."
