Teaching hospital and home of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics Connecticut Children's Medical Center is the largest pediatric primary care service for children between Boston and New York. Pediatricians provide primary care services such as well-child checkups and immunizations, and care for minor illnesses. Emergency room staffed serves approximately 30,000 patients annually.
