  • The purpose of the Well Said app is to provide a mobile application which allows students to improve their pronunciation of English words.   • The purpose of the mVideo app is to provide a mobile application which allows students to view interactive videos (content) on the move. Tapping on the 3G or future Gs network of telcos, content delivery to the students is possible to any part of Singapore, resulting in true mobility.

  • They record and share their speech for peer feedback. Users can watch videos and animated articulation that helps them not only hear, but also see the correct pronunciation of all key English phonemes.
  • NIE student teachers felt that this tool can motivate users to continue using and improving their speech with their voice recordings for formative assessments.
