there were some interesting links on this page...also, it may be worth it to buy this book and read a bit about how cell phones are being used in school--maybe even pay for a short excerpt if it's any good? http://www.iste.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Curriculum_Integration&TEMPLATE=/CM/HTMLDisplay.cfm&CONTENTID=20434

This is particularly excellent. Looks like it was developed by Michal Yerulshalmy, who developed the Geometric Supposer, years ago, with Judah Schwartz.

This does look interesting...I wonder if there are any resources to help teachers use these applications.

This blog is by Scott McCLoud, who I met co-presenting on several SETDA panes and His website and blogs are excellent and he's well-respected. I asked him to be a guest expert on the Alabama Data course -- becasue one of his excellent blogs/websites/currciulum development is on Data Driven Decision making. This set on cell phones also looks good. He could perhaps consult again, if we go in this direction
