this could be a good resource too...i haven't explored it too much, but i like that he is a teacher actually using tech in his class

This is particularly excellent. Looks like it was developed by Michal Yerulshalmy, who developed the Geometric Supposer, years ago, with Judah Schwartz.

This does look interesting...I wonder if there are any resources to help teachers use these applications.

This blog is by Scott McCLoud, who I met co-presenting on several SETDA panes and His website and blogs are excellent and he's well-respected. I asked him to be a guest expert on the Alabama Data course -- becasue one of his excellent blogs/websites/currciulum development is on Data Driven Decision making. This set on cell phones also looks good. He could perhaps consult again, if we go in this direction

Mark Prernsky's article is one good overview-- maybe there's a more recent one :-)
